You can remove the ball and replace it with one at the specifications you
need.

You can disengage the lock by merely leaving the ignition key in the on
position, just disconnect your battery.  Where is Walto anyway?  He had a
car delivered like this and suspected the front end was damaged due to the
driver leaving the steering locked.  I would hope you wouldn't 'dolly it'
backwards and leave the lock disengaged.

Personally I hate those dolly things.  When I had my car delivered it cost
me about the same for it to be trucked in on a roll-back flatbed truck as it
would have to rent a dolly.  Plus I saved the time and fuel costs to go get
it.  My car just showed up one day.
