[DML] Re: A message to prospective DeLorean owners

Not at all..I see it as a POSITIVE step for Future delorean owners..

It's a good idea, and from someone with vast knowledge of the delorean

My main point is to not rely on just a book..but to get the facts and input from actual owners..and sites like the DML..places like YouTube with actual videos showing problem areas..and or repairs..no book can do that..

For example last year I killed my last Riding Mower ..as I just kept getting "another one" when one Crapped out..finally this year,I decided to just rebuild what I already owned..did I get my Knowledge from "books" ...very little..Most came from places like YouTube and other websites..that give you UPDATED KNOWLEDGE..unlike a Book..that cannot be updated, with the latest repairs or knowledge...Now I am sooo confident..that I seek out on places like Craigslist,those owners who give up on their Riding Garden tractors..and make the Repairs and turn around and sell them..surprising how magically things become Simple when you acquire "The Knowledge"

I Believe knowledge should be open in all aspects and not just books.
Open your mind to all forms of Knowledge and understanding in your education..not just in small engine repairs as I stated above..but in your love of the delorean..use All available forms including James  Book as a part of your knowledge base..but don't just depend on the book in itself.

You want to be at the point where you can walk up to a delorean and spot a "clunker" or "Money pit" or a "Diamond in the Rough" right off the bat..without the use of ANY book. 

I myself had no books or videos in 1982..I had to learn though trial and error..and I found it quite rewarding and fun at the time.Let me just say you guys today have a vast majority of places to educate yourselves on the Delorean..Use it wisely....
