[DML] Re: Mystery capacitor

Ground schematic (passenger compartment) with my ground bus overlaid in red:

Junction behind the central HVAC duct (I promise you: it's there):

Tied into the bus:

IMHO this is my greatest contribution to the DeLorean community -- not a handful of carb conversions. Until I found that junction all I had ever seen/heard was that the fuel pump is grounded via the radio bracket. That is 100% incorrect. The radio bracket is actually an extremely minor player in the ground scheme: radio and a handful of noise reduction capacitors -- that's it.

I have run a longer cable from the ground to the original frame location and from there to a starter mounting bolt and from there to the bulkhead ground connection which helped a lot, but still has not cured all the noise problems that show up especially over about 3000 rpm. Does anyone know what the chief source of the noise is?
