Re: [DML] fuel sending units



John, When they replaced the pump et al, I was running a pickup similar 
to yours. I think it was installed before you had one and before I even 
knew of you (I've had this car for many years). In this particular case 
I was running a pickup straight off the bottom of the tank with a can 
upside down to act as a baffle. Worked fine for years. Had the problem 
occurred at home I would have done something different. It was not 
unlike when your car is on the lift at any dealer and a repair is 
needed. Your options are limited.
