Re: [DML] Re: New DOA President & Vice-President

Linda:
First off, not sure what you mean by "must suck to not have any help in your area". The DMA is my local club and we have tons of events and help each other a lot.

Secondly: is "Southern California DeLorean Club" a DOA chapter? I thought it was a stand alone club (like AZ-D, DMA, etc)

If it is a DOA club, I will rephrase my question for you (not as an attack, but as a point of personal intrigue). What has paid membership to the DOA brought to you? Many of the items you point out are benefits the club has just by existing (not by paid membership). DMA is invited to parades, TV filmings, featured at BTTF gatherings/showings, has club gatherings, etc. Do you feel that you have seen benefit by the DOA to justify the yearly price tag?

No offense, but I have yet to see someone say "I'm a current DOA member

I am a PAID member of the So. Cal. DOA. I joined NOT out of pressure. I
was ALWAYS welcomed to any event the So. Cal club had and was NEVER
pressured to join. I was always welcomed to join the fun the club was having.
Never seen a forum of any charters? How about the clubs? Feel free to start
here....
