It's coming!  I've had a flood of great advice on what more we can offer the
community here this past week, and the ideas continue to pour in.  There are
some phenomenal ones, and some that we just can't do without more
volunteers, but regardless, it's great to see the advice and encouragement!
I plan to put together a business plan composed of the best ideas following
our November 15th meeting, and I like the idea of people being able to
submit questions to ask the Board.  If you have any, send them to me via
e-mail (jhaldeman@xxxxxxxx) with the subject heading "DOA Board Meeting
Question", and I'll add it to my list.

I have read with great interest all the comments on the DOA. I have been a
member since '82 and can remember when they were the only support group we
had. I now wonder if it is time to pack the DOA into history. I pay $75 and
all I see for my money is a magazine now and then. I would like to see
something more for my bucks.
