RE: [DML] Re: DCS 09 Prelude Planning

   Everyone,

I want to state for the record, Bob Brandys and his activities are NOT part of DCS West. This is something he is doing on his own. ANY official information about DCS West will only come from Ken Kkoncelik or myself. It appears Bob's intent is on providing his own week-long event around the DCS 09 show in Las Vegas. While I can understand the desire to round out the week for those who may be coming early, some of his activities appear to interfere with the DCS event itself. All I can do is ask you all to come only to the official events during the show and to stay in the host hotel. As Ken K has said many times, booking rooms in the host hotel is how the show is able to afford the meeting rooms and guest accommodations. Otherwise we get no discount on those rooms and have to come up with the money to pay for them. Simply stated; Staying at the hotel keeps the cost of the event lower and makes the event more affordable for YOU.

I look forward to any comments or questions.
