Is Houston now applying the same rules as D1 has?
I know that in order to purchase anything from D1 you have to give them your 
full VIN and they have to approve you as a customer. I have not heard that 
Houston qualifies who can and who cannot buy parts from them. Is this some 
new policy or just a rumor? Is Houston starting to use their position to get 
rid of unwanted competition and owners? If so, it's getting scary...

He wont be able to sell it unless one of the current franchises or
Houston buys it.  Think about it.  Houston will have to approve the
new owner before they will sell them parts.  Unless D1 has a sh@t
l@@d of parts left over a new owner might be buying into a business
that has no parts supply line.

If you ask me... he is between a rock and hard place and Houston has
the winning hand.
