RE: [DML] Fuel pump Buzz/Hum and engine cutting out briefly

Yep... Have a spare Fuel pump handy, install a heat shield, and when you
hear it next stop at the next gas station and fill up on some nice cool
fuel. If it is silent after you add the gas it is defiantly the overheat
problem.

Good Luck,
Richard

Subject: [DML] Fuel pump Buzz/Hum and engine cutting out briefly

So, driving back from DCS on Sunday, my car lost power on the highway 2-3
quick times, then the engine kicked back in (almost like inertia switch cut
in/out 2-3 times real quick)

I traveled another 45 minutes, and it happened one more time about 10 miles
from home. I made it home, and noticed that my fuel pump was
"Whining/buzzing/humming" quite a bit. I have never heard this before.

Is this the overheating problem? Do I need a new fuel pump? What kind of
lifespan should I expect?
Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
