RE: [DML] A/C acting weird, is it dying?

If the blower motor is old it's drawing more current and tripping the CB on
speed 3 and 4. Then when the CB cools down it closes the contacts and it
starts working again.

Subject: [DML] A/C acting weird, is it dying?

My A/C is blowing ice cold. However, today it started acting strange. I
had the A/C on max setting and the fan blowing level 4 (it was 105
degrees F outside!). All of a sudden, the cold air completely stops
blowing. No fan. Strange noises coming from behind the console.
Switching the fan knob around did nothing. I had to shut off the A/C
knob. Then turn it back on and A/C works just fine. A few minutes
later, same thing happened. Again I'd shut off the A/C knob and turn
it back on. About every 3-5 minutes the A/C and or fan would just shut
off by itself.

Any ideas what's going on?
