I had no idea that Grady or anyone else would willingly help out another 
mechanic. Granted, it would be awfully nice to help out someone who 
lives far away from the nearest D shop, but it just wouldn't be 
profitable, and I always assume that people who run shops aren't going 
to do anything unless they can make money from it.

When I had to replace my Ducey alternator with a local mechanic, (before I had the manuals... it is in there...) I needed 
the new wiring diagram for the Motorola.  Although I had not gotten the Motorola from Rob, (I got it used,) he was kind 
enough to help, and even faxed the diagram.  My problem has been rather that a local mechanic is "too smart" to need 
to call in the Calvary and call Rob for advice.
