Re: [DML] What's it worth?

First thing I think of is did you get a car fax report?? Does the current owner have any receipts of what he/she has done ?? Are you planning to use it for your daily driver?? I'm not sure where you are but it would be a good idea to have another owner or a mechanic look at it.? The fact that it was badly painted makes me think that there maybe body damage.? The other issues indicate that there might be some other major issues.??As to what it is worth?? Have to see it.? If you want to use this as your daily driver I'd stay away.? If you buy this to fix it up and latter want to use it as a daily driver then you could take a chance.?What is it worth?????

I'm sure you guys get these types of posts alot, but I'm kind of stuck
in my decesion here. I found a local guy that is selling a late '81 D.
with the grooved hood but no fuel door. It is painted black. He is
asking 13.9k which I know isn't too unreasonible but I would like to
get the experts opinion on it. The car starts and runs but does have
it's issue. This is what I know about the car from talking to the
owner and looking at/driving the car myself.
