[DML] It's not the compention.. IMHO

Bill... Do what you want.

The following is all my opinion--- With much respect
for Bill!

We all own DeLoreans. *Part* of the attraction to
owning such an "odd ball" car is to be different.
99.9% of the time, when your out with your DeLorean,
you will be different... But, not so much at the
worlds largest DeLorean show.

My participation in this discussion (with you Bill),
is because your messages come across as if you feel
like an outcast because your car has some areas that
may need help, or that you have a number of
controversial modification to your car. I for one do
NOT consider you an outcast, and think you should
participate with the masses.

BUT, maybe this is not what you want. Maybe you want
to stand out above and beyond because going to a
DeLorean show with your DeLorean is nothing special.
It is strange, that you perceive me as "showing off"
when I pass DeLoreans in a caravan. Maybe your right,
maybe I am an attention whore (although, I do not
consider that my motivation). But, it would seem you
are not so different! Negative attention is better
than no attention?

See you at the DMA Spring social.. April 26, maybe
you will win the award for furthest traveled? :)
