[DML] Re: DeLorean Economic Conditions

When Dunmurry was in operation, DMC itself owned the lion's share of
NOS parts supply....

The financing Steve Wynn needed was incredible for an individual who
previously worked as a mechanic. Imagine doing it yourself. Could he
have pulled it off with 12% inflation and 18% interest rates? I would
argue not.

Rob Grady recently commented on what turn of the 80's economic
conditions did to his family's business. His sad tale was repeated
thousands of times across the country, as well as Dunmurry. The 1970's
produced much more unhappiness than just polyester and disco.
