Re: [DML] Re: Fuel Metering

Bill,

I do not have any problem with you, or anyone else
putting a carburetor on their DeLorean.

Based on other comments, I think most of the folks you
seem to feel are "against" you are saying the same
thing that I am.

Where I find fault with your posts to this list are
proposing carbonation as a solution to other owners
with fuel injection problems.

If someone makes a post "hey, I want to carburetor my
DeLorean", then by all means I would expect you to
share your knowledge and experience. However, if
someone makes a post "Hey, I cant get my DeLorean to
idle properly", it is somewhat disturbing to a number
of people that you respond with your arguments on why
a carburetor is better than FI.

To a "newbie" on this list, they may walk away with
the idea that some large percentage of DeLorean owners
have replaced their FI with a Carburetor, and that is
the "fix". Clearly, that is not the case.

Of course, that is all just MY opinion on the matter.
I still support your freedom to say whatever you want,
but when you do that you have to be ready for other
people to say what they want too, even if you
disagree!
