RE: [DML] Re: WANTED: Angle Drive

No, I did not replace the large nut that the drive mounts to.
I did however just have a bearing failure on that same wheel.
So who knows....could be anything.
All I know is this, nuts, cables, bearings... explain why when I try to spin these drives the gears lock up?
I suppose the drive could have been damaged by whatever was "wrong" with my car, maybe.

Yes, the cable that comes out of the angle drive thatgoes in to the plastic cap. If that cable is toolong, it will bind once the cap is on.I say the cable too long, but the actually lengthshould be correct for most cars. It is possible yourcar has some other problem that is making the cablestick out of the hub too far.Did you also replace the large nut that holds theangle drive in place?--- Videobob Moseley <videobob@xxxxxxxxxxx> wrote:> > Which cable are you refering to?> Do you mean the cable that comes out of the angle> drive?> I don't recall it's length, it's shredded now.> The lower cable I got from DMCH.> - VB> __________________________________________________________Be a better pen pal.
