Yes, the cable that comes out of the angle drive that
goes in to the plastic cap.  If that cable is too
long, it will bind once the cap is on.

I say the cable too long, but the actually length
should be correct for most cars.  It is possible your
car has some other problem that is making the cable
stick out of the hub too far.

Did you also replace the large nut that holds the
angle drive in place?
