I drive my car when ever I can. I have no hesitation in jumping in to it to do long distance trips or using it for popping down the shops. It is reasonably wide so I always park it spot on in the the parking bays to avoid dings. I also normally park it further away in the car park to lessen the chance of anything bad happening. From what I have seen the car attracts nothing but the right kind of attention and a bonus from this is that people tend to park there cars a little way a way from the sides of the DeLorean as they incorrectly think that the gullwings will swing out smashing the sides of there car...
I have quite a loud exhuast on my car and one of the reasons for that is so that drivers can hear me coming and therefore will not accidently pull out into me. I have put 20k on my car in 5 years and so far so good. If anything does go wrong we have a huge volume of spares available...
Kind regards,

In response to a post from another Delorean website, I'm curious if any
of you owners resist driving the car due to worries of other drivers.
Or dings in parking lots. Or....?
