Lol - actually someone did precisely the opposite to me not long ago in 
a supermarket carpark. A Land Rover discovery parked right on the line 
of his bay and sat there smiling at me as I approached and plipped my 
alarm to unlock the doors. He looked mightily put out as I simply opened 
the door and got in. My door cleared his wing mirror by about 2"

Even with my frame, it'd have been impossible to get in if it were a 
conventional door, that's how close he was
