[DML] Re: Reverse lights

Andy,

It sounds like you checked voltage on the wires where they attach to
the switch.

There is a wire junction (a simple plug) just behind the engine. The
wires are not a single piece from the reverse switch to the reverse
lamps. The plug is located in a bad position that is subject to much
exhaust heat from the crossover pipe.

Trace the wires up to the junction. Make sure it isn't melted or
disconnected.

Or, unless I've misunderstood, put the car in reverse and hook your
meter up to the bulb socket center pin and holder and check for 12v.
That will tell you for sure if the wires are unbroken between the
switch and the tail light boards.
