Marc, I hope you get this straightened out - this is totally 
unacceptable business practise and these guys should definitely be in 
the spotlight for it.

I can vouch for John's excellent alternators.  And his customer service 
-  which, in these days of online purchasing, is as important to me as 
the product.  My old Motorola was starting to get a bit dodgy so I 
ordered his 140A model last year, and I now have more than enough power 
to keep my fans, AC, lights, amplifier, etc. running smoothly.  I called 
about a noise I was hearing after installation, and he was nothing but 
helpful and got me set right in no time with great advice & info about 
alternators, batteries and charging systems.

- ed  (selling a like-new 140A alternator for $22K - comes with a free 
1982 DMC-12 attached to it!)
