[DML] Re: DeLorean Owners Association Event ? Las Vegas May 2007 ? Postponed

The Red Rock Resort Casino is a great location for a DeLorean event. I'm in Vegas nearly
once a month, and have stayed at the Red Rock several times. It's only a year old, and a
BILLION DOLLAR casino resort off of the snarled traffic of the strip. Where would you park
your DeLorean at a strip casino? The scenery at the Red Rock National park right behind
the resort would make for beautiful group photos, and it's only 15 minutes from the
airport. Even though the strip is closer, it takes longer to get to/from your hotel because
of the traffic.
It's market value, and $229 per night is a fantastic rate for that quality of a resort. The
problem is, many DeLorean owners are too cheap, and that's why so many of these cars
are in crappy disrepair and worth so little. Maybe if we get a higher standard of owner,
then the cars will be better maintained and the entire marquee will go up in value.

I'm sure your opinion of the Red Rock was based upon personal experience from your visit
there, right? Maybe "the last independant parts supplier" will host a show at Motel 6 for
you. For some reason the Mr. Haney on Green Acres comes to mind.................
