[DML] Re: "The Sacrilege of the PRV " or "To Swap or Not to Swap (the Engine)"

It is "your car" and you can do whatever you wish to it. Just remember
someday you (or your family after you are gone) may decide to sell it.
As long as you understand the consequences of the mods you perform and
the effect they may have on the value of "your car" do whatever you
want. Realize it is rare that you will increase the value enough to
recover the expense of an engine swap. IMHO the PRV is one of the more
reliable parts of the car. The big caviat is as long as it is properly
taken care of and maintained by someone knowledgable. It isn't the
most powerful engine but it is reliable. The sub-systems are what
require the most work like the fuel, electrical, and cooling systems.
