[DML] Re: Persistant cold start issues



Since we know the CSV works and you replaced the TTS we can *assume*
they are not defective. BTW I hope you didn't wrap the TTS with teflon
tape, it MUST be grounded. My guess is you have a wiring problem. The
cold start system is pretty simple so if it isn't the CSV or the TTS
there isn't much left but the wires and connectors. Ring out each wire
and make sure there are no loose connections or corrsion. If your
motor will crank in the cold 7-8 times I doubt there is any issue with
the battery or the starter. There should be plenty of power to run the
CSV too. You are on the right track, the motor will be difficult to
start cold if the CSV doesn't spray.
