Peter,

First of all I would make sure tha your battery is good and that it is fully charged.  Alternators are made to maintain the battery charge.  I had the 90A motorola alternator in my car when I got it and my voltage dipped below 13, especially when the engine was hot.  I bought a 130 amp DeLorean alternator several months later and the difference is phenomenal.  My car runs so much better now because it has the power it needs.

Couple days ago I noticed that voltage was dropping when I would turn on lights, fans,...,
