[DML] Re: DMC Ebay scams

Personally I have found and reported at least 5 false ebay listings. 
Your really need to watch out for scams on ebay. 

My only advice is to go out and look at the car. Spend that extra 
money on airfare, and hand deliver the money in exchange for the 
title. Where I live in AZ, those who hold the title own the car.

If it seems too good to be true IT IS!. I found out the hard way and 
lost thousands of dollars. In my case someone had swiped a legit 
ebay listing and put it on cars.com (which by the way was VERY 
unresponsive to any inquiry i sent after the fact)

Ebay is pretty good. If you catch it, you can open a chat session, 
and they will have it pulled within an hour or so. 

If you want to purchase on ebay, watch out for Deloreans that have 
previously sold, and within about 1 month re-listed. Also watch out 
for cars that seem to want to bend e-bay rules. If you venture 
outside of ebay, you are running a risk of losing money.

Ebay is a great way to find thing, so please do not think that i am 
knocking ebay, just do your homework and as I suggest hand deliver 
the money.
