I think most owners on the list would love to debate this with you.
With the exception of a couple of under-engineered systems (OEM alternator  
too weak, early VINs needing the igntion service bulletin, weak OEM fan  
breakers) the car is actually quite reliable.  
 
Sounds like yours is just not the norm.
