Mythbusters did a whole segment on testing various jamming methods for
LIDAR, including painting the car matte black from stem to stern; no
difference. Car was an ancient, blocky caddy, which may have had some negative
impact on their results. Still, you'd expect there to be SOME difference
with the matte paint job. Television, so grain of salt, and so forth. =)
