[DML] Unwanted ground- Where to look?

My car has started blowing the #12 fuse (dome lights, courtesy
lights, glove box, luggage and engine compartments)

I have not tapped into this circuit to power any peripheral devices.

Obviously one of the "hot" wires is grounded somewhere and I'll end
up tracing these hand-over-hand. I'm just wondering if anyone knows
of a common fraying/rubbing point that could speed up the search?

Thanks in advance,

Rich A.
