cooling system hose diameter?

I need to replace my thermotime switch either today or tomorrow but when i 
drain my coolant to avoid making a mess on the front of my engine, i want to 
replace the two flexible radiator hoses on the bottom of the car (this will drain 
most of it anyway). these are the hoses that make the angle from straight 
metal lines under the car to the metal hoses that go upward to the engine. i am 
referring to part 43 on Houston's site (cooling system), or 105994 in the 
parts manual. 

i want to source these locally to save time and i need to know the length and 
diameter that i need before i start this job.
