RE: better door "launchers"

I have had door launchers in my DeLorean for 4 years now.
I first install the VPA 15lb. Solenoids.
Then two years ago I swapped them out for 50lb Solenoids from Autoloc.

Your door strut and your torsion bars are not affected by the weight of the
Solenoids that weigh only three pounds a piece. As long as you have good
struts installed you won't see a problem.
The worst load your torsion bars and struts will see is when the doors are
closed, not when there opened.

If you first want to see if your doors will be affected, hang a weight on
your door and see if there is a difference.

Solenoids VS Actuators. I don't know. The actuators I've seen max out at
15lb. of pull. If Darryl has or knows where to get actuators with more pull
force. Then try his. I don't think that 15lb. is good enough, thats why I
swapped out my Solenoids for bigger ones.
