Steve,

for the 'luggage compartment top panel', are you talking about the rear 
headliner? if so, it MAY be possible to repair it - one idea that i have 
heard is lightly wetting the old headliner and somehow attaching some metal 
strips in it to regain it's rigidity. i didn't think a repair was a good 
idea and i went with a completely new replacement. unfortunately, the 
replacement is much lighter than the rest of my interior, and it does not 
match. i think age has something to do with it!
