Reverse/Manual Transmission

Owner's Handbook:

"To select reverse it is necessary to LIFT UP on the gear lever knob
whilst moving lever to it's position."

I still say that's a tough maneuver, much more so than with other
shifters. It's a part of the uniqueness of the car, I like it, I wasn't
knocking it, I was just pointing it out. One huge benefit in my world,
I tell my wife it's too hard for her to drive a DeLorean, citing this,
along with other reasons (steering,. clutch, etc.). So far she's kept
out of them, a definite plus.
