American and Aer Lingus have some sort of working relationship and they
share a flight from Chicago to Dublin. We got American from Minneapolis to
Chicago and Aer Lingus from Chicago to Dublin non stop for a total of $985
round trip. Not really a bargain but when you have specific dates you want
to fly in sometimes you have to take what's available. We found some Aer
Lingus flights already full out of Chicago but we had some flexability.
We're going over early to tour the Republic of Ireland before going to
Belfast.
