Wayne,

You will have to replace the electrical connector plug. The Ducellier uses
a connector all it's own. When you are done, you should have one wire left
over with no place to connect it to the Motorola alternator because it is
internally excited. On the Ducellier plug there are two wires: a brown
with a yellow trace and a heavier all brown wire. The brown with the yellow
trace connects to 'L'. The heavier brown wire should be taped off and not
used.

And if all this blows up in your face, don't blame me :)

It is my experience that all alternators in the Delorean use the same belt.
Here are some cross-reference numbers that you may want to try for the belt:

Dynaflex 15495
Gates 7495
Nationwise 49013
