Dave,

On the subject of coating you windshield, be aware that most states prohibit
any type of alteration or addition to the windshield surface other than the
top factory tinted section.

Concerning your friend George, the next time he comes to your house ask him
to help
you install a window motor or a clutch slave cylinder and you will probably
never see him again.
