At least 1.5-2 times what it would cost you to buy a one that was nice
in the first place. Keep saving. If you try and restore a true "parts
car" you'll only frustrate yourself. The real answer of course depends
on the individual car you find, you can always get lucky (some people
have). This kind of cost number is not exclusive to DeLoreans, and
would apply to just about any restoration project from a Corvette to a
'57 Plymouth. (Note two vague references to Dave Stragand).
