[DML] Re: FUEL filter

Hi Dave,
There are several places in the fuel system that could starve the engine of
fuel. The fuel pickup hose inside the gas tank is one. This hose can
collapse when the pickup filter screen becomes plugged. The fuel filter is
another. And the third and worst is the fuel distributer and injectors..

To remove the fuel filter you need to remove the hose fittings first. You
need to use "Tubing Wrenches" on these fittings so you don't strip them.
Don't waste your time trying to find a local fuel filter. The price is the
same as you buy one from the DeLorean dealers. There is a fuel filter
lookalike on the market that doesn't seal at the top and sprays gasoline
over your engine when you try to start it, buy only DeLorean fuel filters.
Besides, you will probably never have to change the filter again anyway.
Have fun.
