[DML] DMC-12 or DMC Coupé?

Regarding the model name...

Is the DeLorean:

MAKE: DE LOREAN
MODEL: DMC-12

or:

MAKE: DE LOREAN
MODEL: DMC Coupé

???

The reason I ask is that European registration authorities (at least in 
Norway) require both a make name and model name. I've seen both of the above 
versions on DeLoreans registration cards...

We all know that DMC called it "DMC-12", but did DMC ever approve the name 
"DMC Coupé" to be used together with "DeLorean"?
