[DML] Re: Electrical system, ventilation, and radio questions from a newbie.

In Re: LCD problem in Craig radios. Indeed there is a fix for this! My little brother (Elect. Eng. & gadgeteer) replaced the power ribbon with a heavier duty one. The tape door closes a bit slower, but ALL the LCD's work. Minimal effort, & no expense for me. Drive Stainless Robert VIN 6924 (See you in St. Louis)

The loss of ventilation through the upper vents is due to a defective AC
Mode Control Switch (Parts Manual 7 / 3 / 0 fig# 7). The intermittent
interior fan operation is caused by a defective circuit breaker (Parts
Manual 3 / 7 / 0 fig# 22). Both items are available from DMC Houston & PJ
Grady.

The radio LCD problem is common to all cars with the Craig radio, there is
no fix for this . OEM replacement radios are available from both suppliers
named above.
