The solution (or at least one version of the solution) to this De Lorean "feature" can be found in DML-digest issue 38, dated 13 November 1995.  Here is a link: http://www.dmcnews.com/backissues/dml038.html  I performed this operation and it works perfectly.  If anyone has NOT performed this fix, in my opinion, it iswell worth the 10 minutes!

(2) DMC Joe stopped here for some repairs on his tourof the south - Joe you did a great job and I cannot thank you enough.  One thing he did for me was install Fanzilla.  It is working great, but I haveone question.  I thought that one thing that Fanzilla did (other than the obvious) was to turn the console lights off unless the head lights are on.  Could someone shed some light on this and maybe give some detailed instructions on how to shut these console lights off unless the head lights are on.
