[DML] Re: Fuel Injector Pressure vs Fuel Consumption

Fuel consumption is usually miles/gallon of fuel - right? So, you
need to measure miles and fuel then do the math based on the last
cumulative reset. I would think there are aftermarket folks that
sell these types of in-car calculators if you can figure out how to
provide the fuel input (probably the sender unit) and the mileage
input (more difficult to obtain electronically on the D of course).
Seems like I remember once upon a time a company sold a vacuum
reading unit that could be calibrated for your engine that would
calculate mpg (an approximation) based on the average manifold
vacuum reading over time (clock provided in the unit). I think I saw
it on the JC Whitney site - but I haven't searched to verify.
