Re: [DML] Estimate

It's very difficult to say because there are so many cars for sale at
various states of disrepair. I bought mine when I was 18 for $12,500. It
ran quite well but needed new brake system, tune up, clutch hydraulics, AC
compressor, and various other things to keep it working. It still needs
more work and I don't think I'll ever be "done" improving it. I don't care
about the value or getting my money back, this car is for my own enjoyment.
As long as you don't mind slowly fixing things as you go, I'd say go for it.
Try to find one with at least a decently running engine, even if it has
higher mileage. Some of the cheap "dead" DeLoreans will likely put you in
over your head. I want a new owner to enjoy their DeLorean experience.
