RE: [DML] Estimate

I just love everyone's opinion on this. I have restored 12 D's so far.
I can't thank the vendors enough for their advice and keeping parts
available. Since I am on the East Coast, special thanks to Rob Grady
for all of his help.

Each car is so very different. I have purchased cars for $5,000, put
$2,000 into it and it was like new. On the other hand I have purchased
cars for $5,000 and found out that it was a parts car because of the
frame and a seized engine.

Do your homework and there are some very good deals. Just pay what you
can afford with enough in the bank that you don't get frustrated at the
ongoing costs. Learn to do the work yourself as that is part of the
enjoyment that most of us get from the car.

Just my 2 cents.

Jack.
Always looking for a project car!
