hi dave iv just been underneath and counted the shims and measured 
them. on the passenger side i have 5 big shims and 2 very very small 
they measure 9/16 of an inch altogether.on the drivers side [left] i 
have 3 shims plus one very very thin one they measure 5/16 of an inch 
altogether.the car drives fine so im baffaled to the amount of shims 
etc if somthing were bent the frame would in therey be bent on both 
sides inwards where the trailing arms attach  in the middle to need 
both sides shimed like this.iv had the car on ramps and checked 
everything it all seems as new no damage etc.
