Your temperature problem is caused by trapped air in the coolant lines.
You
will have to air bleed the cooling system or purchase an air bleed bypass
(overheat protector) to correct this problem.

Hi,
For those of you with the book "Delorean Gold Portfolio" turn to page
26. There is a big picture of the prototype Delorean. Does anybody
know where that picture came from? I know it sounds like a dumb
question, but I have that picture in a SS frame and in color hanging
over my bed. The back has the address of the company who framed it.

Here are the tail pipe facts. All DeLoreans up to Vin. 7999 (81 model
year)
were manufactured with twin 1 3/4" I.D. stainless steel tail pipes. When
the
82 model was in the modification stages it was noted that the 1 3/4" pipe
looked puny compared to the high performance looking rear end; i.e. wide
low
profile tires and the low wide look of the body.
A request was made to increase the size of the tail pipes to a larger size
but it was realized that re tooling at the exhaust system manufacturer to
accommodate these pipes would be costly. A compromise was made by
attaching
an additional length of stainless steel pipe which was 2 3/4" I.D. with a
tapered end to compliment the side view and reduce "steep driveway"
damage.

The problem you are describing is typical of a problem in the acceleration
enrichment circuit, check to be sure that the frequency valve is buzzing
while the engine is running.

This is a common problem in most DeLoreans and is caused by an
incapability
between the oil pressure sender and the oil pressure gauge. The PRV engine
oil system is trouble free which makes the gauge more practical for
appearance than function. In the rare event of a loss of oil pressure the
oil pressure warning light is always there to warn you of a low oil
pressure
condition.
Some owners have replaced the OEM sender with a Volvo version to reduce
gauge fluctuation.

I recently replaced all of the speakers in vin #03254
and used the heat gun (hair dryer) method to get to the rear ones. It
worked great and it was relatively quick.
When replacing the panels I used "RYNOGRIP" brand epoxy that I got from a
local car upholstery supply shop.
I was told it would act the same way when heated.
I also had my craig tape deck refurbished ($60), and installed a CD
changer and a new automatic antenna! The music sounds better than new.

collectors
items.
They are not "replicas" of the original items.
These items are not "reproduced from the original props" as the add
states.
These items are not made with the "same high gloss paper."
The Universal Studios Collectors items were printed on 40 lb paperboard
and end
bound as a magazine with blank pages inside. These items are only $0.89
copies
of the cover and are not collectable items.
