RE: [doc] Torsion Bar

Stephen,

That is a real bummer, especially on a test drive. You need to try and
identify what exalts has happened. Prop the door open with a suitable
lump of wood and investigate properly. It sounds like a broken torsion
bar or the anchorage point ripped out. Either way its probably bad news,
not made any easier as you are suck up in Scotland, with help a long way
off!

Can you give me some advice, when driving out today there was a loud
bang thought something had hit the underside of the car. When I went
to open passenger side door there was no tension and had to lift the
whole weight of the door. The torsion bar is lose, any ideas what has
happens and how to mend. Many thanks Stephen.
