Dear Chris and Memebers,
RE: Derbyshire's Biggest BBQ, World Cup Football Festival and Business
Exhibition

My colleagues and I are organising a major, annual, Derbyshire based,
event and would like to promote and run this event with your involvement
and enterprise.
The event is intended to promote youth programmes and organisations as
well as the business communities for our local & surrounding areas
-which require substantial support, help and promotional opportunities
and initiatives.
This year we are aiming to host Derbyshire's Biggest BBQ & Business
Event, which coincides, with the World Cup Football Final on Sunday 9th
July 2006. Next year, we aim to break the world record for the world's
longest BBQ (currently 1,007 metres long) - putting Derbyshire and the
local communities concerned firmly "on the map".
We would be pleased to have your involvement, promotion and support to
achieve these aims. I am inviting to come down to support the event with
the presence of your cars and on the day would request that you perform
a money raising activity for and on behalf of the charities involved.
(We can speak further on this matter.)
We are involving key Derbyshire organisations in this initiative
(Derbyshire County Council, District Council, Derbyshire Business Link,
Derbyshire Chambers of Commerce, Derbyshire Emergency Services, Armed
Services to name a few) and wish to attract an audience on the day of
upwards of 5,000 people.
We feel that it is important to support these communities, bring
residents together, help businesses promote themselves to other
businesses and to the general public. In doing so, businesses can
benefit commercially at the event and we also commit to donate a
percentage of incomes to local good cause initiatives - Cancer Research
UK and the NCH.
Naturally, we recognise that your involvement in attending, promoting
and publicising this event will make it all the more successful.
I'd be pleased to learn of your early response. Please call me to help
answer any queries you may have. To find out more about the event feel
free to check out our web site or email
