I'm not taking sides or anything here, but, has your former BTTF car not been to plenty of shows? Would people hopping in and out of the car not wear the seats a bit, especially as they were 25 years old? I was allowed to sit in it once at the Kings hall (very good experience too)
   
  Not sure what to think about the engine covers. I know from experience that things on this car seem to age terribly (depending on use). I have a lower engine cover in my garage. It was clean and looked good when I replaced it, and now it looks ready for the skip (nothing gets thrown out though!)
   
  Hopefully this can be resolved peacefully soon.
