You're right Phil, Labour scrapped the 25 year rolling exemption from
road tax after they came to power in 1997, in 2001 and 2005 the Tories
promised to re-instate it if re-elected.

Well, I get my house sale money any day now, so Flopsy is going back
on the road! Yay!!!

Thanks for all the kind words about my house move too from those of
you who have posted, emailed me and spoken to me privately, its been
tiring, but I'm getting there and have started exploring my new
surroundings already.  Yesterday I decided to stop emptying boxes as
the sun was shining, so jumped in the Cav armed with my cameras and
headed up the A6 out of Belper, drove up through Matlock, and ended up
at Chatsworth House, and spend a very enjoyable and relaxing time
sitting  by the river watching the wildlife.......do I miss
Stevenage.....do I buggery!! :-)

Oh and the housewarming is in the planning stage..... :-)

Anyway, I've just nipped on my mum's PC back 'daan saaf' to catch up
on the DOC list at emails as my broadband isnt connected yet at home,
but I'll be heading back home up the M1 tonight and hopefully getting
Flopsy back from her place of storage tomorrow. :-D  Jeez, I've missed
my car so much, I cant wait to start driving and enjoying her again.
